Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026DaySync LLC

This policy explains how Kachkachi (operated by DaySync LLC) uses cookies on kachkachi.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

In short: we only use cookies the Service needs to work: one to keep you signed in, one so guests can see and cancel their own reservations, and one to remember your language. We don't use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies, so there's nothing to opt out of and no cookie banner.

1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Session cookies disappear when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

2Cookies we set

CookiePurposeTypeExpires
soroka_sessionKeeps you signed in to your account. Holds a random token; we store only its hash.Strictly necessary30 days, or when you log out
soroka_guestLets a guest see which gifts they reserved or chipped in on, and cancel them, without an account. Holds a random identifier; we store only its hash.Strictly necessaryAbout 13 months
kk_localeRemembers which language you chose for the site. Holds a language code such as en.Strictly necessary1 year

All three are first-party cookies. The session and guest cookies are httpOnly (page scripts can't read them) and are sent only over HTTPS in production. Because they're strictly necessary to provide what you ask for, they don't require consent.

3Third-party cookies

  • Paddle: when you open checkout or manage billing for Kachkachi Plus, Paddle may set cookies for payment processing, fraud prevention and security. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
  • Shops: gift photos load from the shop's own servers. We don't ask those servers to set cookies, but their own policies apply to requests your browser makes to them.

4Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our cookies you won't be able to stay signed in, and as a guest you won't be able to see or cancel reservations you made earlier.

5Changes

If we ever add non-essential cookies (for example, analytics), we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
